Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using BoxBestie you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are creating an account on behalf of a gym, fitness facility, or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. BoxBestie is operated by BoxBestie ("we", "us", "our"). Contact us at legal@boxbestie.com.

BoxBestie is a gym management platform providing: workout programming and WOD builder tools, class scheduling and attendance tracking, athlete performance tracking and PR detection, leaderboards and community features, billing and membership management, AI-powered coaching insights and WOD generation (select plans), TV display mode and coach remote control, and reporting and business analytics.

Gym Accounts: gym owners and administrators create gym accounts and are responsible for all activity within their gym account.

Athlete Accounts: athletes may be invited by a gym or sign up as BoxBestie Open Athletes.

BoxBestie Admin: a special administrative account type for internal platform management.

BoxBestie OnePlan — $79.99/month or $799.90/year. Full gym management, unlimited athletes, daily programming, coaching notes, AI features, no processing fees ever.

BoxBestie Network — $79/month base plus $40/month per additional location.

BoxBestie Open Athlete — $9.99/month or $99.99/year. Individual athlete tier with global leaderboard access.

Plank Owner Program: The first ten gym accounts to subscribe receive a permanently locked rate of $69.99/month for OnePlan. This rate is locked for the lifetime of continuous subscription, cannot be transferred, and is forfeited if the subscription lapses for more than 30 days.

Free Trial: New gym accounts receive a 30-day free trial. Open Athletes receive a 30-day free trial. No credit card required during trial.

Failed Payments: BoxBestie provides a 14-day grace period on failed payments before transitioning to read-only mode.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

Refund Policy: BoxBestie does not offer refunds except within 7 days of initial subscription if the Service has not been meaningfully used, or where required by applicable law.

You agree to use BoxBestie only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to: use the Service for illegal activity, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the platform, use automated scraping tools, impersonate others, upload harmful content, use AI features to generate deceptive content, or share account credentials.

Your use of BoxBestie is governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you input. BoxBestie uses your data to operate the Service, power AI features, generate reports, and improve the platform. Data is retained for 90 days after cancellation.

AI Features: When using AI features, your gym data is sent to xAI Grok for processing. This data is used only to generate requested insights and is not used to train AI models.

The BoxBestie platform, software, design, trademarks, and logos (including the Valknut logo) are owned by BoxBestie and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use BoxBestie trademarks without written permission. Workout programming published by BoxBestie remains BoxBestie intellectual property.

BoxBestie integrates with Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Resend (email), xAI Grok (AI), and Cloudflare (security). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

BoxBestie is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. BoxBestie does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.

Fitness Disclaimer: BoxBestie provides workout programming for informational purposes only. This content does not constitute medical advice. Athletes should consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any fitness program. BoxBestie is not responsible for injuries resulting from workouts programmed through or tracked on the Service.

AI Disclaimer: AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes. Coaches should review all AI-generated content before use. BoxBestie does not guarantee the accuracy or safety of AI-generated programming.

Limitation of Liability: BoxBestie's total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount paid to BoxBestie in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify BoxBestie from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or your athletes' use of the Service under your gym account.

BoxBestie may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or with 30 days notice. Immediate termination may occur for illegal activity, fraudulent payment, or serious security violations.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Texas under American Arbitration Association rules.

BoxBestie may modify these Terms with notice by email and in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
